When enabled, newly enabled customers will have billing automation enabled by default.
*Only applies when "Auto enable new customers in portal" is enabled.
When enabled, newly enabled customers will automatically receive an invite email. Note: this will ONLY occur if the user's email has not already been setup in the portal. When the user has already been created previously, it is assumed that they have already received an invite email.
(You can however always manually send an invite email to any user at any time)
Caution: Disabling customer logins will terminate any active customer sessions.
Message to display on login screen. (default message is "Customer logins are temporarily disabled.")
(By default, internal memos are only visible to staff. Enable this option if you want your customers to also see this value)
Click this checkbox to hide the "Make Payment" button from customers and disable online payments.
Note: You should also remove payment links from your email templates as this will cause confusion for your customers.

Some companies issue "zero value" invoices which often are used to deduct value from pre-paid services. Click this checkbox if you issue these types of invoices and want to give customers the ability to filter these from view.
This is the default setting for customers. A customer can still override this setting anytime they wish. Click the checkbox to enable filtering by default.

Account Summary Style
When sending Account Summary emails, you can choose whether to show only open items or a "statement style" format.

This line is displayed at the bottom of an Account Summary when the total invoices less payments does not equal the customer balance. It means there are some applied credits or other adjustments.
